From a younger age, Jacques has always been fascinated by the magic of sound and words in how they inspire the human soul in the story telling tradition of the griot. He believes that music is more than just an opium that soothes our suffering, as it is the echo of our spiritual being. A sound that resonates and ignites in each of us the necessary virtues to engage the present, as music should remind us of who we are, where we came from and where we are going. 

Parting from his usual full band format,  Jacques celebrates his new find freedom in the naked soul and power of music through a series of new performance,"The Afro Soulful Acoustic Series." Sharing his life journey stories from which he has drawn life lessons that inspire the human journey.
